Upcoming 2012 Cars Buick LaCrosse Preview With Specification and prices
Buick LaCrosse Options
One change, as reported by Car and Driver magazine, is that the Upcoming 2012 Cars model will no longer be sold with CX, CXL, and CXS trim levels. Instead, Buick is trying a more Lexus-like marketing technique of offering customers a model-wide choice of several packages of options, all under a universal LaCrosse emblem.
Buick LaCrosse Competition to the Upcoming 2012 Cars Buick LaCrosse
In a competitive comparison, the Buick LaCrosse is often pitted against the 4-door Lexus ES 350, the Acura TL with 2wd, the Hyundai Genesis, and the 4-door Toyota Avalon. If these sedans continue in the tradition of their earlier models, The LaCrosse will provide formidable competition for its exterior design and interior amenities. GM believes in the reliability of the LaCrosse to the extent that for 2011 they offered a longer warranty than most competitors. This is likely to be continued for Upcoming 2012 Cars.
By 2012 GM has promised to offer a new mild hybrid powertrain, more sophisticated than its first go at mild hybrids, including a new lithium-ion battery pack. Additionally, GM has suggested the possibility of a scaled down dual mode hybrid powertrain for larger sedans and crossovers. So, a full hybrid offering for the LaCrosse hybrid is still possible.
